Fumbo is a fun yet surprisingly difficult puzzle game from PhudgBoy. The object of the game is to take the mis-matched pieces and sort them on the board in such a way that they make a coherent picture. Sounds easy? Try again.
The graphics for the game are good for something that looks so simple. The 4-sided cards can be rotated and moved seamlessly through the board. You have a timer and move counter on the right hand side of the screen to keep track if you’re into that sort of thing.
The sound is excellent if not a little bit repetitive. A repeating beat of what sounds to be a native African tune.
This game will definitely challenge your problem solving skills. You use the right and left trigger to rotate the pieces to try and match them where they need to go. The A button will pick up and move the piece and the Y button will allow you to (gasp) cheat and see what the completed board is supposed to look like.
This is another excellent game in the list that I have reviewed recently. I’m very happy to say that I will be giving this one 4 thumbs up. Truly a fun game for the whole family to try. I would definitely recommend it for children who need to brush up on their memory skills. At only 80 MS Points, this one’s a real steal.
