What can I really say about a game where you are attacked by and must destroy… chocolate. Sacrilege I say. In Lamingtons Zero, chocolate treats are trying to take over the world and it’s up to you to stop them by shooting them. What more can I say? Honestly, I wish I had a camera taking pictures of my face when I first started playing this one.
The graphics here are pretty good. The backdrops for the different levels aren’t bad. But let’s face it folks… and I don’t mean to upset the developers here. But the pieces of chocolate actually look to me like floating pieces of… well… p**p.
The sound is alright. Some cute music for the background but I don’t really think that bullets should sound like they’re bouncing off of metal when they are hitting pieces of chocolate. Unless of course it’s really really old chocolate.
One of the nice things about this game is that it holds your spot for you for when you get bored playing (which will be shortly after you start). It’s a great concept and all, but there’s only so much you can do here. You have the option of 1 or 2 players and gameplay upgradeable weapons to help you defeat the hunks of chocolate but even those options couldn’t save this game for me. Apologies to the developers here but only 1 thumbs up from me.
