Light Catcher is the next game that I am reviewing as a random choice,
Light Catcher is all about… well… catching lights obviously! This game is able to be played by either one or two players in which the object is to reach the required amount of points by catching different falling coloured lights based on various combos.
Once three falling lights have been collected, the light leave the catcher (reminds me of a tuning fork) and travel along to a light bulb which then glows based on how well you did. The better you did, the brighter the glow.
The game includes various power ups including gravity which speeds up the rate at which the coloured lights drop and a “power up” power up, but I couldn’t really figure out what that did!
The graphics are fairly straight forward with everything having a slight light glow about them. The controls are simple – left and right, can’t get easier than that.
In summation, if you have a few moments that you want to spend playing a game that requires not much skill or intellect, then you could be onto a winner here.
