Nuke Your Neighbor Review

Nuke Your Neighbor

In the world of board and card games, Nuke Your Neighbor stands tall with the best of them. In this fast paced take on Uno and Rummy (with a little bit of War thrown in), you work by yourself or with a team-mate to try and take the lead.

The gameplay is very easy to get used to. Use the controller to pick a card to discard when it is your turn. There are a lot of twists and turns with the cards so be very careful what you play. Some cards will reverse play, some will require you to pick up or the ultimate “Nuke” card which will dump an extra hand on you. Not to worry though, some cards will allow you to discard extras. The tutorial is very helpful in learning the ins and outs of play.

The graphics in this game are very good for a card game. I have seen some card games out there go a little on the cheap side as far as graphics go so I was pleasantly surprised at the detail involved. From the explosions when you get nuked to graphics displayed when your gameplay shows that you are on fire and doing very well.

Even the sound in this game is exemplary. There is nice, crisp sound to everything about the game. From dealing the cards out to the explosions themselves. Definitely a joy to listen to when you are playing.

Overall, this is an excellent game and well worth adding to your library. With the option of playing by yourself against the computer, playing with up to 4 people locally or up to 7 others on live this is definitely worth the 80 MS Point cost to you. Go our (or stay on your couch) and buy this game. You won’t be disappointed.
