Xmas Defender Review

Xmas Defender

Yet another in the line of tower defense strategy games, Xmas Defender offers a lighter side to the genre. You have been brought in to protect Santa and the North Pole from all the naughty children of the world after it has been discovered that Santa is indeed real. Using a range of 6 defensive and offensive options (snowball tower, fire, gift and trees to name a few) it is your duty to destroy the remote controlled toys before they get past you.

Graphically, the game is not nearly as good as some others I’ve tried but there was still a fair bit of work put into it. There are different routes that the vehicles take as you go up in the levels and the cars themselves remind me of the old 8 bit racing games (ah nostalgia). Overall the graphics, as I said, aren’t the best I’ve seen but are decent enough for this game.

What can I say about the sound? You have music, you have explosions. What more is there? The sound is very good for the game and definitely adds to it.

Overall, I must say that this is a very good game considering some of the competition it is up against with some if the arcade and indie games. Definitely a must own for fans of this type of game.
