Zoomaroom is the next game that I am reviewing as a random choice,
Zoomaroom was a game I quite enjoyed and is really a fairly straight forward physics based platformer game. Your character is what appears to be a beach ball with the arms, legs, head and tail of a monkey who has the movement of a monkey on steroids and controls exactly like a rolling ball.
The object of the game is to make your way to the exit and collect as many as you can of the available coins in each room (level) and avoiding the red floors in quickest time possible. The game consists of 70 rooms and 350 coins to collect.
There are various objects that you are able to collect to aid you in your quest to collect the coins and get to the exit such as shield and spider web which enables you to pull off a bit of a Spidey move by launching the web toward the ceiling and allowing you to swing across the room.
The game also boasts a room builder which allows the player to create their own rooms and share them.
At the end of the day, I found Zoomaroom to be a good bit of fun for a while, but not really something that I would normally go for.
